Ruby’s story…………..

Good Morning Friends, well it’s Sunday morning, and you know what they say about Sunday’s its the day of rest. Well, you will never know what mum has gone and done now. She’s only arranged for us to go to a dog agility course this afternoon.

Yep, her friend has booked the field for us and me, my friend Amber and our other friend Beau are all signed up to do the agility course. It’s to get us in training for the Muddy Dog Challenge that we are doing exactly 3 weeks from now !

This was all organised over a glass of wine, last Saturday… or Sunday, mum can’t quite remember !

Apparently the field is booked for us to use between 4 – 5 this afternoon, WHAT !!! does mum not remember that I have to have my dinner at 4.25pm every day……this is tantamount to neglect friends, giving me my dinner late.

Even though none of us have done an agility course before, the lady who owns the field says that they will be able to temp us round with a couple of treats….. clearly this lady does not know me ! I won’t even get out of bed on a morning for anything less than a handful of cereal. A few treats is not going to tempt me up and down ramps and through tunnels. A joint of beef or a pack of sausages and I may just weave between a few posts……provided they’re spaced far enough apart. But a few treats… no way !

Well, mum got us into this, she can get us out of it. I’d like to see her doing an agility course…. but then again, on second thoughts, maybe not……..

So there you go friends, this is my day of rest, an agility course and a late dinner, this is not going to end well. Watch this space.
