Ruby’s story…………………..

Good Morning Friends, well my face sums up the weather this morning…. miserable. Its pouring down again, its been raining all week here and every day we’ve been soaked to the skin. Dad’s boots are permanently stuffed with newspaper, the house has got a distinct pong of burning socks drying on the woodburner and I’m resembling a brown woolly sheep. I’ve been rubbed down with a towel so much this week, I’ve got a curly perm.

But I am standing strong friends and I am flatly refusing to wear my rain coat. Any hint of it coming out of the cupboard and I’m off. No way am I wearing that, it is so uncomfortable, with the velcro and the little belt that holds it in place round my belly and my legs, the chaffing is a nightmare. You’d think mum would know all about that…… chub rub is no good !!

So friends I think that I might just stay here until the rain eases, it could be a long wait………
