Ruby’s story………
So mum has decided to go on a diet and don’t we all know about it, She has pronounced that her body is now a temple and only healthy food will pass her lips, which is not good for me, I like sharing a little bit of cheese or a biscuit with mum.
Yesterday’s breakfast was bran flakes with grapes, so none for me. Labradors and grapes do not mix !! and when I say grapes friends I mean the type that are on a bunch not the type in a 250ml glass….. not even I would suggest that mum has wine on her cereal.
Lunch was boiled egg salad so I did get a quarter of a boiled egg and then dinner was pasta with salmon, tomatoes, mushroom and spring onions, so none for me again, apart from a couple of dried pasta shells that fell out of the jar and landed on the floor, very dry and crunchy but anything is a bonus in the current situation !! Not sure that mum will be having the boiled egg, salmon, spring onion combination again though, she was up all night with her indigestion….. she’s a slave to it apparently. I know that she won’t mind me telling you that… sharing is caring after all, as she likes to tell me so often.
I can’t wait to find out what today’s offerings are going to be …… I might just go outside and chew on a stick ! Hopefully by the end the week she’ll have got bored with this healthy eating and normal service will resume and I can get back to my little snacks of cheese, boiled ham and the odd cracker….. here’s hoping friends.
