Ruby’s story………
Mum took me to a pooches and Prosecco party at my friend Amber’s house the other day.
It wasn’t meant to be pooches and Prosecco, it just ended up that way.
There was 6 of us pooches and 6 mum’s drinking Prosecco, so hence the name of the party.
Including me, there was 2 dogue de bordeaux’s, a golden retriever, a spaniel and a pug. I’ve never met a pug before, and I was a little bit scared of him at first and hid behind mum’s legs when he came snuffling over to me. I soon got used to him though and we sat on the patio together watching the bigger dogs play fighting. I’ve never really been one for play fighting, I’d much rather just snuffle about looking for stuff to eat.
We had great fun at the party though, and so did our mum’s, they were all dancing at one point. Not good in my mum’s case, it was more lumbering from side to side rather than dancing. Not exactly Dancing Queen, more like a Tragedy !!!!
Anyway I don’t know whether it was the heat, all the excitement or the sight of my mum dancing but I threw my dinner up all over the dance floor, sorry patio. Mind your dancing feet mum’s you don’t want that squelching through your sandals.
So mum had to stop dancing to clear up the mess, I sat with my new friend the pug and watched. It took her 4 poop bags you know. Anyway after mum had cleared up the mess, she decided that it was time for us to go home, so that was that our party was over, I bid my new friends good bye and mum her’s and off we went into the night me leading mum who was staggering from too much Prosecco swinging a poop/sick bag on her arm and humming along to dancing queen.
