Ruby’s story…………..

Happy Fathers Day to my Dad, you really are the best and I have so much to thank you for.

Thank you for taking me out for walks so that I can just snuffle about, and then taking me out again 10 minutes after we get back because I forgot to do anything.

Thank you for standing in a field for 4 hours because I refused to come back until I’d eaten the whole thigh bone of a dead dear, and then getting up with me in the middle of the night when it came back up.

Thank you for “helping me out” when I’ve eaten too much grass….. you know what I mean.

Thank you for letting me sit and stare intently at you at every meal time.

Thank you for keep mum under control when she freaks out if I run off or go to deep into the water.

Thank you for washing me down when I’ve rolled in all manner of disgusting things.

Thank you for standing out in the rain, hail, wind and snow when I can’t decide whether I need the loo or not.

Thank you Dad, thank you for everything………..
